Spring 2018 - RFP process begins for to select a developer partner for Phases 4 and 5.

Summer 2018 - Community members demand that residents advise the Request for Proposal process and selection of a developer for Phase 4 + 5.

Fall 2018 - TCHC convenes a Revite Working group for residents to advise on the redevelopment process in Regent Park. 

Fall 2018 - TCHC formed a residents RFP committee to advise on the Request for Proposals (RFP) process.

Winter 2019 - TCBN hosts Winter Quarterly General Meeting and community conversations on community benefits with RPNA and community leaders.

August 2019 - Regent Park Community Benefits Coalition formally launched by the Regent Park Neighbourhood Association advocacy team with support from TCBN.

September/October 2019 - Community Benefits Coalition meetings and negotiations with TCHC. TCHC agrees to the signing of a Community Benefits Framework.

October 10 2019 - Community meeting hosted by Regent Park Community Benefits Coalition to provide an update, outline the development process and highlight next steps.

October 15 2019 - Community priorities report submitted to TCHC.

January 09 2020 - Coalition meets with local MPP, Suze Morrison (Toronto Centre) to introduce coalition, share progress to date and gain support for ongoing work  

January 13 2020 - Coalition meets with local MP office, Bill Morneau (Toronto Centre) to introduce coalition, share progress to date and gain support for ongoing work  

February 13 2020 - TCHC meets with Coalition to respond to Community Benefits Framework agreement proposal and Community Priorities Report

February 17 2020 - TCHC hosts Community Update Meeting to inform community that all three bidders have been shortlisted and delay in selecting of development partner until Summer

February 13 2020 - RPNA Regent Park Coalition, TCHC and City of Toronto enter into negotiations to finalize Community Benefits Framework agreement.

February 27 2020 - Tentative agreement reached between RPNA Regent Park Coalition and TCHC 

March 5 2020 - Community Benefits Framework signed by RPNA Co-Chair Lloyd Pike and TCHC Chief Development Officer Vincent Tong. View here

August 6 2020 - RPNA Community Benefits Coalition and Toronto Community Housing co-present at Community Benefits Virtual Townhall meeting with community residents. 

August 2020 - Coalition meets with Toronto Community Housing to co-develop Terms of Reference for the revitalization, community engagement and implementation processes

October 11 2020 - Coalition launches campaign to seek endorsement from all federal By-election (Toronto Centre) candidates for support a CBA and community priorities as part of Phase 4 + 5 revitalization

November 25 2020 - Coalition meets with Toronto Community Housing to receive updates on proposed timelines and project status. TCHC has no additional information on timeline and when the report will go to TCHC Board

December 07 2020 - Coalition receives word that the TCHC Staff Report and recommendations for Development approval will be discussed and voted at TCHC Board on December 15, 2020

December 15, 2020 - TCHC Board Meeting to review Development Proposal for Phase 4 and 5 Revitalization in Regent Park
